Mission Statement
The Community
Action Committee is committed to supporting a community
driven Family Resource Program which helps to meet the
health, social and developmental needs of young children
and their families.
What is a Family Resource Center (FRC)?
Family Resource
Centers provide a fun and supportive environment for
young children from birth to six years and their
parents/caregivers. A FRC is a place to come to
relax and socialize with other families and most
importantly, learn and play together with your child.
There are a
variety of fun learning experiences available for young
children including book and toy libraries, crafts,
painting, sand and water play, blocks and puzzles and so
much more!
Resources/information and workshops are also provided
